Notes: this taxon was first described as Triclistus facialis meridionator (Aubert 1960g). Later, Aubert reported
some specimens from Paulilles under this name, which he subsequently identified as belonging to Triclistus congener
(Holmgren,1858), with which he synonymized his species (Aubert 1963d). Later, he realized that he had missidentified
the Paulilles specimens as meridionator, and that the type material of this species was a distinct species.
He thus re-described the taxon under the name meridiator with the male from Menton as the holotype and the rest
of the syntype series of meridionator as paratypes. The two taxa T. meridiator and T. facialis meridionator are thus
objective synonyms, and T. facialis meridionator has priority. It is not a synonym of T. congener, but a valid species
(Aubert 1984).

meridionator: Zatypota anomala meridionator Aubert 1960d.
Type locality: F/Alpes-Maritimes/Èze.

Notes: taxon based on a single specimen, which by monotypy represents the holotype (Art. 73.1.2.). The type has
not been returned from loan for several years, and might be lost.
Notes: synonymy established by Carlson (1979).
Identity: junior synonym of Sinarachna anomala (Holmgren) (Pimplinae).
meridionator: Zatypota eximia meridionator Aubert 1963b.
Type locality: F/Provence/Var/La Londe-les-Maures, La Verrerie.
Type material: holotype ♀, temporarily on loan.
Notes: this taxon was first described under the name Zatypota eximia meridionator (Aubert 1963b), which is a primary
junior homonym of Zatypota anomala meridionator (Aubert 1960d). Aubert then re-named the taxon as Zatypota
eximia meridicolor (Aubert 1989a). Taxon based on a single specimen, which by monotypy represents the
holotype (Art. 73.1.2.). The type has not been returned from loan for several years, and might be lost.
Identity: objective synonym of Zatypota eximia meridicolor Aubert (Pimplinae).

primary junior homonym of Zatypota anomala meridionator (Aubert 1960d). Aubert then re-named the taxon as
Zatypota picticollis meridiator (Aubert 1989a). Taxon based on a single specimen, which by monotypy represents
the holotype (Art. 73.1.2.). The type has not been returned from loan for several years, and might be lost.
