Notes: this name was first used for in Aubert 1969e for a single male from Zeneggen/VS/CH. Later, Aubert used
the name xanthopsanator for a different taxon from Greece (Aubert 2000) and stated that the type locality reported
in the original description was erroneous. However, the original description of Priopoda xanthopsanator Aubert
1969 perfectly matches the specimen from Switzerland found in the collection, but not the specimens from Greece.
The use (and type designation) of the same name for another taxon from Greece in 2000 thus represents an independent
nomenclatural act which produced an additonal name, which is a junior homonym.

Notes: this name was first used for by Aubert (1969e) for a single male from Zeneggen (CH/VS). Later, Aubert
used the name xanthopsanator for a different taxon from Greece (Aubert 2000) and stated that the type locality
reported in the original description was erroneous. However, the original description of Priopoda xanthopsanator
(Aubert 1969e) perfectly matches the specimen from Switzerland found in the collection, but not the specimen
