to indicate your choice of drive B:.<br />

to tell the computer to accept your instruction.<br />

But how about with a hard disk, or even a floppy disk with<br />

subdirectories? Well, if you're using PC-DOS or MS-DOS,<br />

version 2.0 (or later), you would see the following:<br />

Logged drive:<br />

Active direotory.<br />

This shows the path name of the current default directory. To<br />

change this, you would:<br />

1. Press<br />

A<br />

to indicate the Active Directory option.<br />

2. Type in the name of your disk subdirectory. For instance,<br />

\PASCAL \PROGRAMS, if you haveonedirectoryforTURBO<br />

Pascal and another for the files of programs you write.<br />
