PETE ORLANDO<br />
Sr.; Pelham<br />
A fourth-year Bomber oarsman, Orlando has spent the last<br />
two spring seasons in the varsity 8. He is accomplished on<br />
both port and starboard as well as sculling. Last summer he<br />
competed in five events at the prestigious Canadian Henley,<br />
rowing for the New York Athletic Club in New York City.<br />
Orlando also competed in the last three CRASH-B World<br />
Indoor Rowing Championships in Boston. He is the son<br />
of Debra and Adolph Orlando and majors in television-radio.<br />
TOM POOLE<br />
Sr.; Utica<br />
Since walking on as a novice, Poole’s <strong>Ithaca</strong> rowing career<br />
mirrors that of Orlando, his fourth-year teammate. Poole<br />
has sat in the stroke seat of the varsity 8 since 2007. In 2008<br />
he stroked medal winning crews at the Frostbite Regatta in<br />
Philadelphia, the Head of the Genesee, and the Collegiate<br />
NYS Championships. He is a physical therapy major and<br />
the son of Tom and Karen Poole of Utica.<br />
ALDEN HALL<br />
Sr.; Macon, Ga.<br />
A fourth-year walk-on rower, Alden stroked last spring’s<br />
second varsity 8 that participated in the NCAA championships.<br />
Last fall she rowed in the first varsity 8 that finished<br />
sixth at the Head of the Charles in Boston. She was honored<br />
as a National Scholar Athlete by the Collegiate Rowing<br />
Coaches Association (CRCA)IN 2008. She majors in art<br />
history and is the daughter of Lee and Kathy Hall.<br />
KATIE O’DRISCOLL<br />
Sr.; Farmingdale, Maine<br />
As a sophomore, Katie sat in the stroke seat of the varsity 8<br />
at the 2007 NCAAs. Last spring she occupied the six-seat<br />
and has been in the first-string lineup since her sophomore<br />
year. After walking on as a freshman she was in the novice<br />
8 that won the 2006 state title. O’Driscoll was also a 2007<br />
and 2008 CRCA National Scholar Athlete. She is a journalism<br />
major and the daughter of Dennis O’Driscoll.<br />
