B. THE SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE: VERB 1<br />

When talking about facts (they stay the same <strong>for</strong> a long<br />

time) and habits (they happen again and again) we use THE<br />

SIMPLE PRESENT. The verb is the simple <strong>for</strong>m of verb.<br />

In positive <strong>for</strong>m, when the subject is a third singular<br />

person (Talita, she, he) and it suffix s/es is added to the verb.<br />

In negative and interrogative, does is used <strong>for</strong> the third<br />

singular person, and do is used <strong>for</strong> the others. it), suffix s/es<br />
