Introduction
The aim of this book is to simplify the one aspect that invariably causes many problems with language
students – verbs, or more to the point, irregular verbs.
Having spent many hours looking through books and surfing the internet, it soon became apparent
that what was needed was a one stop reference guide for finding the various conjugations of Spanish
irregular verbs, of which, there are many.
I decided to write this language support book out of necessity and for my own use but soon realised
that it would help many others also struggling with Irregular Spanish verb conjugations.
Whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced student, the use of this book will prove itself
time and time again and will inevitably enhance your command of Spanish verbs.
Using this book
After this brief introduction and user guide you will find a section explaining what verbs are and how
they are used, it is imperative that you read and understand this section.
At the rear of this book you will find an English to Spanish index and a Spanish to English index, that
will assist you in finding the verb you require.
Each Spanish verb that is listed will be followed by a letter and a number, these will collate to a verb
sheet that will show exactly the conjugation required.
You will find a blank verb sheet towards the end of this book that you can print out and use to fill in the
conjugations of any chosen verb for your own reference.

Although this book will assist you with your understanding of irregular verb conjugations it is intended
to be used in conjunction with a good bilingual dictionary.
Many verbs have more than one meaning and are used differently depending upon the context in
which they are put to use therefore, a good dictionary will give you a much better understanding for
the use of the verb and it’s different meanings.
