Firstly the exhibition “textiles verbindet” (textiles make
friends) in Stuttgart in the foyer of the Ministry
of Culture. � ere the results of the schoolchildren’s
competition in Baden-Württemberg concerned with handicrafts
are on display.
� e exhibition is to run until 05.09.2008.
From Monday to Friday 8.00 to 18.00 hrs.
Entrance for free.
Secondly, the NADEL UND FADEN (Needle and
� read) – the 14th exhibition for textile art and
handicrafts from 12th – 14th Sept. 2008 in
Osnabrück in the Osnabrück-Halle with 120 exhibitors
from all over Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.
Apart from the latest trends and developments on the textile
market, also textile art exhibitions will be shown.
� is year these will include the touring exhibition ‚Fäden
verbinden Frauen’ (� reads connect Women) in which the
textile art of Afghan and European women meets up on an
artistically high level in the most diverse ways.
� e 14th exhibition NADEL UND FADEN 2008
will be taking place on:
Friday, 12.9.2008, from 14.00 hrs to 20.00 hrs,
Saturday, 13.9.2008, from 10.00 to 18.00 hrs,
Sunday, 14.9.2008, from 10.00 to 17.00 hrs.
Entrance Euro 7,— day ticket,
Euro 13,— season ticket,
Euro 4,50 for disabled persons.
Groups from 10 persons upwards will be given
discount upon request.
