The black and white film series ‘Health
Guide’ was produced from 1974 to 1984 and
was designed for evening broadcast television
in the East-German GDR. The educative
health films of the 1970s combined medical
scientific education with practical hints and
instructions concerning appropriate personal
behaviour. Both films give information on
healthy nutrition.
