Location: Aug<strong>us</strong>t<strong>us</strong> Giovanni has been in Torpor since the mid 1930's in the infamo<strong>us</strong> Glass<br />
Mosoleum, the Black Giovanni Tower in the heart of Venice, Italy. The most active member of the<br />
Antediluvian generation by far. He holds the most direct sway over his clan, next to perhaps<br />
Tremere.<br />
History: His goal is to drop the shroud between the Shadowlands of the Dead and the real<br />
world and in doing so become the ruler of the earth. Long ago he devised the grotesque plan to<br />
displace the Cappadocian Clan as a whole with his mortal family. He succeeded in doing so in 1444.<br />
As it sit's it may have been for the better as Cappadocio<strong>us</strong> was under the dil<strong>us</strong>ion that he was<br />
destined to diablerize and become God. To this day Aug<strong>us</strong>t<strong>us</strong> Giovanni claims that Cappadocio<strong>us</strong>'<br />
soul escaped his diablerie. It is Aug<strong>us</strong>t<strong>us</strong> greatest fear that Cappadocio<strong>us</strong>' escape may come back<br />
to haunt him. In a semi related matter it is curio<strong>us</strong> to know that the only known way for a vampire to<br />
have gained Necromancy in the Dark Ages was through a Infernal Soul Pact. Yet the Giovanni<br />
manifested this power from the outset. The Idea that Aug<strong>us</strong>t<strong>us</strong> Giovanni may be an Infernalist as<br />
well as a Antediluvian is indeed a scary thought.<br />
