A short woman; very religious. Immigrated to South Africa but did not like it, so she and her husband went to Eretz Yisrael. They<br />
lived in Jerusalem in great poverty. The family in South Africa sent them food parcels which were confiscated by the Turkish<br />
authorities during the First World War. As a result Khaya-Yenta and her husband starved to death.<br />
She married Yekhiel-Michael Katz, (son of Hirsh Katz and Mary ?) died c.1914 in Eretz Yisrael.<br />
Yekhiel-Michael: A tall man who ran an inn in Lutzin and kept cows. Known for his humour.<br />
