◆ ◆
the meeting, because I
couldn't find the minutes,"
Freda said.
Project attorney Morgan
Hollis said his understanding
was that it was
an afterthought at the end
of the meeting, although
he didn't attend the meeting.
"(They) didn't feel
that there was any issue
there. There was no quid
pro quo bargaining here,"
he said.
Freda said that though
it could never be built on,
"they still conditioned it.
That's my concern. "This
is an ongoing problem
with them. They issue
permits on condition, and
that's the problem."
Rugg said it was a
jurisdictional issue and it
was not their business
what was agreed upon.
When reached for
comment this week, Deb
Lievens, chairman of the
Conservation Commission,
said she wasn’t in
attendance at the commission
meeting when
Hickory Woods was being
discussed and therefore
had no comment.
