In order to analyze the influence <strong>of</strong> the<br />

road surfaces R1, R2, R3 and R4, over a<br />

public street lighting installation, were<br />

performed lighting calculations, for the<br />

following situation, using the s<strong>of</strong>tware<br />

Ulysse, developed by Schréder Group:<br />

A) The influence <strong>of</strong> the type <strong>of</strong> road<br />

surfaces over the quantitative and<br />

qualitative lighting parameters <strong>of</strong> a lighting<br />

installation;<br />

B) The correlation between the type <strong>of</strong><br />

road surfaces and the road lighting<br />

luminaire intensity;<br />

C) Determining the EERc for four street<br />

lighting installations, ME3a class, in<br />

accordance with SR-EN 13201 – 2/2004.<br />

It has been chosen a two-lane traffic<br />

standard road, with poles <strong>of</strong> 8 m height, onesided<br />

positioned, at a length <strong>of</strong> 30 m in<br />

between two successive poles (see Figure 2).<br />
