Course Description:<br />
The newly organized <strong>Jules</strong> <strong>Stein</strong> <strong>Eye</strong> <strong>Institute</strong> Clinical and Research<br />
Seminar will provide ophthalmologists and vision scientists with the<br />
opportunity to discuss and share experiences, review relevant literature,<br />
and synthesize this information into a comprehensive approach to<br />
evaluation, management, and treatment of ophthalmic diseases. In<br />
addition to formal lectures there will be ample opportunity for questions<br />
and answers and discussion between faculty and attendees.<br />
Goals & Objectives:<br />
■ Provide didactic presentations, videos and panel discussions on a<br />
variety of topics relevant to clinical practice<br />
■ Present and discuss the future of ophthalmic disorder diagnosis and<br />
treatment, as well as outcomes<br />
■ Provide participants with understanding of new surgical techniques<br />
and contemporary treatment of ophthalmic disorders<br />
■ Present indications and standards in the medical and surgical<br />
management of ophthalmic diseases<br />
■ Provide insight into current research being conducted at the <strong>Institute</strong><br />
