Arnold, M.D. Course Description: The newly organized Jules Stein Eye Institute Clinical and Research Seminar will provide ophthalmologists and vision scientists with the opportunity to discuss and share experiences, review relevant literature, and synthesize this information into a comprehensive approach to evaluation, management, and treatment of ophthalmic diseases. In addition to formal lectures there will be ample opportunity for questions and answers and discussion between faculty and attendees. Goals & Objectives: ■ Provide didactic presentations, videos and panel discussions on a variety of topics relevant to clinical practice ■ Present and discuss the future of ophthalmic disorder diagnosis and treatment, as well as outcomes ■ Provide participants with understanding of new surgical techniques and contemporary treatment of ophthalmic disorders ■ Present indications and standards in the medical and surgical management of ophthalmic diseases ■ Provide insight into current research being conducted at the Institute Target Audience: Ophthalmologists and vision scientists
