Features
Robust housing
Because of a highly robust
housing, our lasers are suitable
for industrial environments.
Your benefit: dust & water
resistant, longer lifetime!
Wavelength
Our lasers have wavelengths
from 404nm (violet)
to 980nm (infrared).
Your benefit: Optimal wavelength
or excellent visibility!
Measurement of line straightness
A test site was specifically developed for high-precision measurements
of our laser lines. Parameters such as line straightness,
line thickness or homogeneity distribution can be detected quickly
with very high accuracy. All calculated values are uploaded into
a database and can be provided simultaneously as protocol to
clients. Manufacturers of image processing systems can use this
data for developing of correction algorithm to make measurements
of our line lasers with greater precision.
Line Cross Circle Dot Line-point
Wood
30 years ago, Z-LASER began its activities in the timber industry. At that time laser have
mainly been used as positioning in sawmills. Today our lasers are designed specifically
for applications, in which the exact alignment of material and machine determines the
work steps. So our products are ideal for applications where a saw line is displayed. Material
and saw are aligned so that the best possible utilisation of the material and minimal
waste is achieved. The laser can be used in environments from -10°C to + 40°C. Lasers
in combination with brackets offered by Z-LASER are easy to install and align precisely
on the machine or saws.
Advantages:
̥ Secure working for machine operator
̥ Quality control
Stone
Exact positioning by laser light in the stone industry lends essential aid to the acceleration
of work processes. The highly visible laser projections are used as a reference marker.
With this reference, you can do a fast and precise alignment between material and
machine, unless to position correctly a work piece or even set up precisely the machine.
Advantages:
̥ Optimal material exploitation
̥ Higher frequency
̥ Cost reduction
Metal
Laser projections in the metal processing industry are a practical tool to speed up workflows.
So these are used for example for a precise and faster alignment of work pieces
such as large metal plates on one side. On the other side processes like cutting, sawing,
pressing can be displayed by machines
Advantages:
̥ Reduction of the setting times
̥ Optimal material exploitation
̥ Increase in work quality
Textile
In sewing and embroidery applications, during cutting operations and printing, the laser
positioning is successfully used. They simplify work processes, accelerate the whole
production process, improve the quality of the product and replace classic alignment
tools. It is important to know that a laser installation does not change the production
places, because the laser can be integrated easily and smoothly into the existing work
processes. Neither changes in the machine settings nor long-lasting training of staff are
required.
Advantages:
̥ Reduction of the setting times
̥ Increase in work quality
̥ Cost reduction
Tire
Z-LASER supplies worldwide leading tyre manufacturers for years with positioning lasers
and accessories. Especially important are highest line straightness (which is confirmed
via certificate), industrial products with as low as possible laser class and precision
brackets with which laser lines can be aligned quickly and accurately. Green lasers are
preferred in the tire industry for best possible visibility on dark materials (such as black
rubber) or in bright surroundings. In addition to the tire building machines, our products
are used for various other applications in the tire industry like machine vision. We are
very interested to develop a customer-specific laser for you and with you.
Advantages:
̥ Reduction of the setting times
̥ Quality control
Medical
The laser modules with class 1 are typically used for precise patient positioning in X-ray
or magnetic resonance tomography. Z-LASER supplies such manufacturers of tomography
with customized laser modules. In mobile X-ray equipment, a laser cross visualizes
the axis of the photons and targets the exact point of X-ray.
The patient benefits from minimizing the ray dose. Z-LASER developed integrated and
retrofit solutions for manufacturers of such X-ray systems. Depending on the application,
the laser is either integrated in the image intensifier or part of X-ray sources.
We are available for you around the world. You will fi nd our country representations online www.z-laser.com.
Z-LASER sets industry standards. By continually investing in the corporate infrastructure Z-LASER warrant a leading
market position in numerous industries for years.
Since 1997, Z-LASER is certifi ed to ISO 9001. Quality audits of important industrial quantity buyers are fulfi lled regularly.
To ensure the high quality „Made in Germany“, each laser is subjected to stringent controls.
“The fascination of the perfect light inspired me 30 years ago to make the laser my passion.
In the beginning, simple wood positioning applications in sawmills have been realised with
He-Ne gas lasers, which were initially built in my living room.
Today, I am proud to admire 6-axis optical machines that produce eye-safe high-end laser
modules e.g. for the automotive industry in our clean room.
From the early years on, all team members stand behind the idea not to supply the arms
industry.”
