<strong>Cisco</strong> <strong>360</strong> <strong>Learning</strong> <strong>Program</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>CCIE</strong> <strong>Routing</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Switching</strong><br />

Practice Lab Workbook, Version 1 Datasheet<br />

<strong>Cisco</strong> <strong>360</strong> <strong>Learning</strong> <strong>Program</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>CCIE</strong> <strong>Routing</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Switching</strong><br />

The <strong>Cisco</strong> <strong>360</strong> <strong>Learning</strong> <strong>Program</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>CCIE</strong>® <strong>Routing</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Switching</strong> Practice Lab Workbook comprises 35 full-length <strong>Cisco</strong><br />

<strong>CCIE</strong> scenarios that each take approximately 8 to 10 hours to per<strong>for</strong>m. Five new labs have been added to reflect the<br />

recent addition of a troubleshooting section in the new <strong>Routing</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Switching</strong> <strong>CCIE</strong> Lab Version 4.<br />

A key element of the <strong>Cisco</strong> <strong>360</strong> <strong>Learning</strong> <strong>Program</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>CCIE</strong> <strong>Routing</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Switching</strong> is to present learners with extensive h<strong>and</strong>son<br />

practice with <strong>CCIE</strong> lab scenarios. If a learner spends 10 hours per<strong>for</strong>ming each of the 35 labs in this workbook, the process<br />

will consume 300 hours of h<strong>and</strong>s-on practice time.<br />

Each of the 35 scenarios includes a detailed Answer Key <strong>and</strong> an interactive Mentor Guide. The Answer Keys are, on average,<br />

more than 40 pages in length <strong>and</strong> contain several diagrams.<br />

Duration<br />

This workbook is a self-paced learning product. Learners have six months to complete the 35 practice labs.<br />

Target Audience<br />

This workbook is designed <strong>for</strong> <strong>Cisco</strong> <strong>360</strong> <strong>Learning</strong> <strong>Program</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>CCIE</strong> <strong>Routing</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Switching</strong> learners who have mastered the<br />

configuration tasks that are associated with the core <strong>Cisco</strong> <strong>CCIE</strong> <strong>Routing</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Switching</strong> topics. These topics include: Frame<br />

Relay, <strong>Cisco</strong> Catalyst 3560 Series Switch-enabling operations, Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Enhanced Interior Gateway<br />

<strong>Routing</strong> Protocol (EIGRP), <strong>Routing</strong> In<strong>for</strong>mation Protocol version 2 (RIPv2), route redistribution, <strong>and</strong> BGP.<br />

This workbook should be used only after a <strong>Cisco</strong> <strong>360</strong> <strong>Learning</strong> <strong>Program</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>CCIE</strong> <strong>Routing</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Switching</strong> learner has<br />

completed all of the videos on dem<strong>and</strong> (VoD) <strong>and</strong> technology-focused, h<strong>and</strong>s-on labs from these Self-Paced Lessons:<br />

● Data Link Layer technologies<br />

● Frame Relay<br />

● Interior gateway protocol (IGP)<br />

● BGP<br />

Workbook <strong>Learning</strong> Objectives<br />

Upon completion of all of the labs in this workbook, learners should:<br />

● Be able to read through a full-length <strong>Cisco</strong> <strong>CCIE</strong> lab <strong>and</strong> identify the tasks that they can easily per<strong>for</strong>m<br />

● Be able to list <strong>and</strong> prioritize any remaining tasks; <strong>and</strong> per<strong>for</strong>m them in the order they choose<br />

● Be able to develop well-defined sets of rigorous verification methods of specific <strong>and</strong> interrelated technologies<br />

Prerequisites <strong>for</strong> Using the Workbook<br />

This workbook is designed <strong>for</strong> learners who have mastered the necessary <strong>and</strong> invariant configuration tasks that are<br />

associated with the core <strong>Cisco</strong> <strong>CCIE</strong> <strong>Routing</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Switching</strong> topics <strong>and</strong> technologies that are shown here:<br />

● Data link layer<br />

● Frame Relay<br />

● IGP<br />

● BGP<br />

● IP version 6 (IPv6)<br />

● <strong>Cisco</strong> Catalyst quality of service (QoS)<br />
