Um ... it isn’t.<br />
RUTH<br />
But you just said it wouldn’t be a<br />
problem. Is eating lunch on your<br />
own a problem?<br />
WAITER<br />
I certainly didn’t mean any<br />
offence.<br />
(beat - customer service<br />
kicks in)<br />
I have a lovely table for you.<br />
Number seven, <strong>by</strong> the window ...<br />
RUTH<br />
I’d like the table I booked please.<br />

39 INT. JULIE'S RESTAURANT. TABLE 14 - DAY 3. 1308<br />

Ruth sits down on the comfortable seating along the wall.<br />
Dark tables have been laid with white linen. It’s a crisp,<br />
intimate restaurant that feels airy.<br />
A few moments later, the Maitre D’ approaches with a MAN IN A<br />
SUIT, he’s leading him to the table next to Ruth.<br />
The MAN is the same man Ruth had a photo of - JOHN.<br />
He sits down on the bench, the same way as Ruth.<br />
Ruth stares straight ahead as he settles. Her eyes desperate<br />
to edge left and lay themselves on this man next to her.<br />
