Circulation<br />
at your library<br />
Who may borrow from the <strong>Library</strong>?<br />
All current U <strong>of</strong> S students, faculty, and staff<br />
U <strong>of</strong> S Alumni may obtain a free <strong>Library</strong> card<br />
provided they have a current Alumni card<br />
(available from the Alumni Office)<br />
External borrowers may purchase a borrower’s<br />
card for $150.00 per year<br />
Remember to:<br />
Bring your U <strong>of</strong> S ID card to borrow library<br />
materials<br />
Keep your contact information current<br />
Loan periods:<br />
Books and journals may be signed out for 3 weeks<br />
at a time, with two 3-week renewals unless<br />
recalled<br />
Loan periods for Reserve books vary, but most<br />
may be signed out for 2 hours. If signed out 2<br />
hours prior to closing they must be returned by 9<br />
am the next morning.<br />
Book renewal<br />
Log in with your NSID and password under<br />
“<strong>Library</strong> Account” , then click on “Details”<br />
Fines<br />
$1.00 per day per item for most overdue items<br />
$1.00 per hour per item for overdue Reserve<br />
items<br />
Return materials on time to avoid fines<br />
Lost Material<br />
The replacement cost <strong>of</strong> the item plus a $30.00<br />
processing fee is charged for each lost item<br />

1 Mac), 2 public use terminals, & 1 laptop for<br />
loan<br />
Printer, scanner, photocopiers (copicards sold<br />
