Descendants from abroad will meet with their family<br />
members and neighbours still living in <strong>Limerick</strong> and share<br />
the wonderful common heritage of the Abbey Fishermen. We<br />
will have a welcome evening, boating on the abbey river, tour<br />
of parish area, historical presentations of our heritage and a<br />
social get together in the parish area.<br />

Riverfest 2013 kicks off over the May Bank Holiday weekend<br />
and will showcase & celebrate all that’s great about <strong>Limerick</strong><br />
<strong>City</strong>. A whole new city wide series of events will be planned<br />
including popular favourites: a huge BBQ competition, a<br />
riverside Continental Fair, fireworks, fashion events, river fun<br />
and lots more including the Great <strong>Limerick</strong> Run!<br />
