V. Review development <strong>of</strong> Job Description <strong>for</strong> the Executive Director. (Action)<br />

VI. Discussion/correction concerning a NV LMFT approved as a Primary Supervisor<br />

but not AAMFT approved supervisor supervising an expired intern. (Action)<br />

VII. Request from Dana Talbot <strong>for</strong> approval <strong>for</strong> licensure. Ms Talbot holds a CA MFT<br />

license (v), meets all academic requirements <strong>and</strong> has passed the exam. (Action)<br />

(v) – denotes completed verification.


VIII. Request from Karen L. East <strong>for</strong> approval <strong>for</strong> licensure. Ms East was given a NV<br />

Interim MFT Permit on 7/28.06. Currently, she holds a Wisconsin MFT License<br />

(v), meets all academic requirements <strong>and</strong> has passed the national exam. (Action)<br />

IX. Request from Arthur H. Brown <strong>for</strong> waiver <strong>of</strong> required coursework <strong>for</strong> practicum,<br />

Ethics, Diagnosis & Assessment <strong>and</strong> Substance Abuse. Currently, Dr. Brown is a<br />

Utah Licensed MFT (v) <strong>and</strong> an AAMFT Supervisor since 1989 (v). He requests<br />

the board recognize his current expertise <strong>and</strong> grant Internship immediately with<br />

Don Huggins to be followed by the next opportunity to sit <strong>for</strong> the exam. (Action)<br />

X. Request from Susan D. Scroggin MFT-Intern <strong>for</strong> approval <strong>of</strong> intern hours earned<br />

in Cali<strong>for</strong>nia. Ms. Scroggin is currently a licensed MFT in New Mexico. She is<br />

requesting approval <strong>of</strong> 220 education hours <strong>and</strong> acceptance <strong>of</strong> her withdrawal<br />

from supervision under the Community Counseling Center. (Action)<br />

XI. Request from Rhonda White <strong>for</strong> approval <strong>of</strong> education hours earned at the New<br />

College <strong>of</strong> Cali<strong>for</strong>nia. The institution currently holds a provisional accreditation.<br />

(Action)<br />

XII. Request from Victoria Anthonijsz <strong>for</strong> a waiver <strong>of</strong> one Practicum semester credit<br />

hour. All other Practicum requirements are satisfied except 1 credit. Her 4 courses<br />

equate to 8 credits instead <strong>of</strong> the required 9. (Action)<br />
