aluminium wood primer 

oil based 

A superior quality oil based primer especially 

formulated for use on resinous woods or oily 

wood to seal the surface and allow subsequent 

oil based finishes to be applied.

oil based extra pale varnish 

dead flat or eggshell 

A traditional oil based varnish made with 

selected resins to achieve a pale colour and 

reduced yellowing.

A traditional oil based high gloss varnish for the 

protection of exterior wood surfaces. 

We recommend thinning with up to 10% white 

spirits for the first coat on hardwoods to allow 

penetration. For best performance outside, we 

recommend a further two full coats.

oil based gloss varnish 

clear 

A traditional oil based gloss varnish based on 

Alkyd, modified with phenolic resins to give a 

varnish that is more rapid drying than Yacht 

Varnish. It gives a pale colour and can be used 

inside or out. 



oil based scumble glaze 

for decorative effects

A traditional oil based scumble glaze used for 

stippling, dragging and other decorative paint 

finishes. Blend with paint and oil colour to 

achieve the desired effect. Over-coat with extra 

pale varnish.
