until recharging the battery becomes impossible.<br />

If the battery does become run down be sure to<br />

recharge it as soon as possible. Over charging the<br />

battery can be just as detrimental to its life as running<br />

it down too far<br />

• NEVER use an open fl ame in the battery<br />

storage area.<br />

• Avoid striking sparks near the battery.<br />

• A battery will explode if a fl ame or spark<br />

ignites the free hydrogen given off during<br />

charging.<br />

• ALWAYS disconnect the battery before<br />

doing any work or maintenance on the<br />

electrical system.<br />

• NEVER turn off the battery switches or<br />

disconnect the battery cables while the<br />

engines are running.<br />

Main DC Breaker<br />

The Main DC breaker reset is located on the aft wall<br />

of the console interior. In the event that the main DC<br />

breaker trips determine and correct the problem prior<br />

to resetting the breaker.<br />

NEVER reset a breaker without fi rst determining<br />

and correcting the cause of the trip. Should<br />

a circuit repeatedly trip, have a qualified<br />

electrician determine and correct the cause.<br />

Component Breakers<br />

Component breakers are located on the helm switch<br />

panel. If a component breaker trips, determine and<br />

correct the problem before resetting the breaker.<br />

Should a circuit breaker trip repeatedly, have a<br />

qualifi ed electrician determine and correct the cause<br />

of the trip.<br />
