Wayne Stehlik<br />
Assistant Coach<br />
Wayne Stehlik spent over 25 years in college athletics. A longtime<br />
assistant under Nolan Richardson at the University of<br />
Arkansas, Stehlik spent 17 seasons (1985-2002) at Arkansas,<br />
which were highlighted by 12 20-win campaigns, four 30win<br />
seasons, three Final Fours and the 1994 NCAA National<br />
Championship with a 31-3 record. Arkansas averaged 27 wins<br />
per season during the decade of the 1990s and their 270 wins<br />
from 1990-99 were more than all but four programs in the<br />
NCAA Division I ranks.<br />
From 2002-2005, Wayne served as the Director of Development for women’s athletics at the<br />
University of Arkansas. His coaching experiences runs deep as he has also served as the Head<br />
Basketball Coach at Baker University in Baldwin City Kansas, following assistant positions at<br />
University of Kansas (M.S.1982) and Nebraska Wesleyan University.(B.S 1979)<br />
Immediately, prior to <strong>com</strong>ing on board with the Tulsa Shock, he served as Activities Director<br />
for the Fayetteville High School Athletic Department, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The FHS Athletic<br />
Department ranked as one of the Top 20 high school athletic programs in the country, according<br />
to Sports Illustrated. In addition to his work at Fayetteville High School, Stehlik also started his<br />
own <strong>com</strong>pany called Play 2 Win Athletic Consulting. P2W is designed to help Student-Athletes,<br />
Parents, Coaches and Administrators adapt to the ever changing world of 21st century athletics.<br />
He was also instrumental in initiating the NWA Tip-Off Club, of which he currently serves as President.<br />
Wayne is married to Tracey Mays Stehlik and they have two daughters, Mollie and Maggie.<br />

LEADERSHIP<br />
Tammy Bagby has over 15 years of professional and collegiate<br />
coaching experience. Bagby was an assistant women’s<br />
basketball coach for three years at Morgan State University<br />
(MEAC) and for seven years at Clark Atlanta University (SIAC).<br />
She won a 1999 S.I.A.C Conference Championship under head<br />
coach Angelyne Brown. Bagby helped produce an All-American<br />
guard, a conference assist leader and shooting guards who<br />
reached the 1,000pts+ Club.<br />
In 2007, Bagby continued her assistant coaching success at Tennessee State University (OVC),<br />
where her teams earned two winning season during her two-year stint.
