Current Position: Creating effective<br />
mechanism at the police Station level to<br />
prevent and combat Terrorism. It is<br />
proposed that District Armed Reserve<br />
would be divided among various Naxalite<br />
affected police stations. State Armed<br />
Reserve/ IR Bn strength would go to Dist.<br />
Armed Reserve. The State Armed<br />
Reserve/IR Bn will be replaced by CAPFs.<br />
The last presentation was made<br />
on13.1.2011. Project was approved in<br />
principle on manpower and training part.<br />
The Micro Mission has been asked to put<br />
up a revised proposal for approval on file.<br />
MM is meeting on 10th May to put up a<br />
revised proposal.<br />
Current Position: Currently the NPM is<br />
unable to function in mission mode and<br />
needs to be empowered.<br />
(1) Notification & specification <strong>of</strong> the rules<br />
<strong>of</strong> business with appropriate delegation <strong>of</strong><br />
powers to DG, BPR&D needs to be done.<br />
(2) Separate funding like other missions <strong>of</strong><br />
GOI. Funding for projects may be<br />
considered at 100% as in SRE or in 75 (
