Cafe Racer Takes<br />

on Genuine<br />

Scooter Line<br />

Ypsilanti, Michigan – Cafe Racer Ypsilanti has<br />

announced that they have taken on the full line of<br />

Genuine Scooters. Since the company was first<br />

launched, it has offered motorcycle service and repairs<br />

on modern and vintage motorcycles as well as custommotorcycle<br />

building but this is their first franchise.<br />

us, looking for a<br />

that would best represent the brand. After trying out<br />

the scooters and learning more about the company, we<br />

decided to take the plunge. We really like the product<br />

and are excited to be selling Genuine scooters.”<br />

Cafe Racer has been working on scooters for<br />

years and had actually become a Genuine Authorized<br />

Service Center last year. That work, and the test ride in<br />

which Cafe Racer owner John Craddock and Ms.<br />

the two that Genuine was<br />

producing high-quality, fun<br />

products that they would be<br />

proud to sell and service.<br />

The Ypsilanti<br />

business will carry the full line<br />

of Genuine scooters including the Stella, Blur<br />

and Buddy in various displacements. They<br />

currently have a limited quantity in stock, but<br />

more are anticipated to arrive within the<br />

month. They have a single demo model in stock<br />

but expect to have other demo models available<br />

for prospective customers to try in the near<br />

future.<br />

Cafe Racer is the primary sponsor and<br />

organizer of the Annual Ton-Up Motorcycle<br />

and Music Festival. They also sponsor the<br />

Tuesday night bike nights in Depot Town and<br />

sell Roos Roast, a locally roasted premium<br />

coffee. One of their project bikes was featured<br />

on Cafe Racer TV.<br />
