On this weekend's episode of The Local Show, Low will be our in-studio guest, fresh off<br />
the heels of a sold out 20th anniversary show at the Fitzgerald Theater. It's also our last<br />
show to feature 12 Rods as our local artist of the month. Bill DeVille will talk with David<br />
Campbell about April's artist of the month: The Jayhawks. He'll also introduce Kevin<br />
Beacham and Siddiq to The Current's local team. Kevin will give us the scoop on H2 and<br />
H2 Local. And lastly, Andrea Swensson's got stories to share regarding the new Strange<br />
Names 7", a profile on Southwire and Grant Cutler's new Weird Visions project.<br />
March 31, <strong>2013</strong> with Har Mar Superstar, Pert Near Sandstone, Katie Hill and Walt<br />
Dizzo<br />
On this weekend's episode of The Local Show, we've got a ton of guests stopping by The<br />
Current studios. In the 6PM hour, Har Mar Superstar talks with David Campbell about<br />
his upcoming soul album Bye Bye 17 which will be released on Julian Casablanca's Cult<br />
Records. We have the exclusive world premiere of another single! We'll also introduce<br />
Walt Dizzo, the host of our Duluth Local Show, airing on the Local Current stream and<br />
89.3HD2 Wednesdays at noon and rebroadcast Thursday evenings at 11 and Saturday<br />
evenings at 6. In the 7PM hour, Katie Hill, the mastermind behind audience engagement<br />
at the M.I.A., will help David announce a very special collaboration between The Current<br />
and the museum. And Kevin Kniebel and J Lenz of Pert Near Sandstone will talk about<br />
the band's new 7" and a big release show coming up at First Avenue on Friday, March 29.<br />
March 17, <strong>2013</strong> with Gospel Gossip and Live Letters<br />
On this weekend's episode of The Local Show, Gospel Gossip returns to The Current<br />
studios for a performance. Their new self-titled album will be out on March 19. Sara<br />
Montour and Steve Korf, the founders of Live Letters, will also drop in for an interview<br />
and tease their upcoming show with Chalet, Joey Kantor's new project. We've also got<br />
the first song from Har Mar Superstar's forthcoming record Bye Bye 17. It's coming out<br />
on Julian Casablanca's Cult Records. The rest of the show is basically one big debut: new<br />
music from Vague-a-Bonde, The Replacements, Crimes, Dan Israel, Web Of Sunsets,<br />
Frankie Lee, Haphduzn and Dimitry Killstorm, Humanda, Wiping Out Thousands,<br />
Hollow Boys, Meta and even an unreleased song from 12 Rods. Whew!
