the. Wisconsin Rapids Jaycees. He is a social<br />

studies instructor at Lincoln High.<br />

Robert Shimanski '65 was appointed staff<br />

psychiatric social worker for Marathon County<br />

Guidance Center.<br />

John P. Clements '66 has graduated from<br />

Officer Training School at Lackland AFB, Tex,<br />

and has been commissioned a second lieutenant.<br />

He is being assigned to Williams AFB, Arizona<br />

for training as a pilot.<br />

Karen Currie '66 is teaching at the American<br />

International School, P.O. Box 2803, Victoria<br />

Island, Lagos, Nigeria.<br />

Dennis M. Fitzgerald '66 graduated from the<br />

Officers Candidate School at the Army Artillery<br />

and Missile Center, Ft. Sill, Okla. and has been<br />

commissioned a second lieutenant.<br />

Karen Krueger '66 is a medical technician at<br />

Parkway Hospital, North Miami Beach, Fla.<br />

James E. Miller '66 is a pharmaceutical sales<br />

representative with the Upjohn Co. He and his<br />

wife live in Wausau.<br />

Bruce E. Berg '67 has completed basic training<br />

at Lackland AFB, Tex. He has been assigned<br />

to Amarillo AFB, Tex., for specialized training<br />

as an administrative specialist.<br />

Kathryn Deppeler '67 is a district food supervisor<br />

for the S. S. Kresge Co.<br />

Mary Donnermeyer '67 has joined the Juneau<br />

County Department <strong>of</strong> Social Services as a<br />

social worker.<br />

Michael Ehrhardt '67 is a physical education<br />

instructor at Benton High School. He lives in<br />

Platteville.<br />

Neil N. Greinke '67 has been commissioned a<br />

second lieutenant in the U. S. Air Force. He has<br />

been assigned to Moody AFB, Ga., for training<br />

as a pilot.<br />

William E. Gries '67, Nancy H<strong>of</strong>f '67 and<br />

Maribeth Peiniger '65 are doing graduate work<br />

at Pennsylvania State <strong>University</strong>.<br />

Frank Grover '67 has been commissioned a<br />

second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force. He has<br />

been assigned to Chanute AFB, Ill. for training<br />

as a weather <strong>of</strong>ficer.<br />

at Evangelical Theological Seminary,<br />

Naperville, Ill.<br />

Phillip L. Johnson '67 has completed basic<br />

training at Amarillo AFB, Tex. He has been<br />

Mrs. Duane Kidd (Sandra Lau) '67 is a second<br />

lieutenant in the Womens Army Corps.<br />

Duane .1. Mara '67 has completed basic training<br />

at Lackland AFB, Tex. He has been assigned<br />

to Sheppard AFB, Tex., for specialized<br />

training as a statistical data specialist.<br />

Shirley Walsvik Merrill '67 is teaching deaf<br />

children in Racine, Wis. She lives in Oak Creek.<br />

Telotey A. O'Brian '67 is teaching physical<br />

education in Medford.<br />

Mr. and Mrs. Roger Tooke '67 report the birth<br />

<strong>of</strong> a daughter, Laura Lynn, on Jan. 26.<br />

Thomas Adams'68 is teaching social studies<br />

to seventh and eigth graders in Arcadia.<br />

Dan Ehler '68 is working toward his masters<br />

degree in rehabilitation counseling and has<br />

been awarded a $1,800 fellowship from the<br />

<strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> Illinois.<br />

Thomas Pellet '68 has been accepted by the<br />

U.S. Navy Officers Candidate School in Newport,<br />

R.I.<br />

Kenneth Pliskie '68 is teaching physical education<br />

in the Montello school system.<br />

Harry Warriner '68, former La Crosse State<br />

golf ace, has turned pr<strong>of</strong>essional and will take<br />

the head pro job at the Maple Grove Country<br />

Club, West SaTem.<br />

Barbara Zimmerman '68 participated in the<br />

Women's A.A.U. National Basketball Tournament<br />

help in Gallup, N.M. earlier this spring.<br />

Miss Zimmerman was previously selected to<br />

the second team All-Stars during the Wisconsin<br />

A.A.U. Tournament in Milwaukee. She is presently<br />

teaching physical education in Green Bay.<br />
