Marlin Schneider '65 was a finalist for the Outstanding Young Educator award given by the. Wisconsin Rapids Jaycees. He is a social studies instructor at Lincoln High. Robert Shimanski '65 was appointed staff psychiatric social worker for Marathon County Guidance Center. 1966 John P. Clements '66 has graduated from Officer Training School at Lackland AFB, Tex, and has been commissioned a second lieutenant. He is being assigned to Williams AFB, Arizona for training as a pilot. Karen Currie '66 is teaching at the American International School, P.O. Box 2803, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. Dennis M. Fitzgerald '66 graduated from the Officers Candidate School at the Army Artillery and Missile Center, Ft. Sill, Okla. and has been commissioned a second lieutenant. Karen Krueger '66 is a medical technician at Parkway Hospital, North Miami Beach, Fla. James E. Miller '66 is a pharmaceutical sales representative with the Upjohn Co. He and his wife live in Wausau. He has been assigned to Moody AFB, Ga., for training as a pilot. William E. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Tooke '67 report the birth <strong>of</strong> a daughter, Laura Lynn, on Jan. 26. Thomas Adams'68 is teaching social studies to seventh and eigth graders in Arcadia. Dan Ehler '68 is working toward his masters degree in rehabilitation counseling and has been awarded a $1,800 fellowship from the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> Illinois. Thomas Pellet '68 has been accepted by the U.S. Navy Officers Candidate School in Newport, R.I. Kenneth Pliskie '68 is teaching physical education in the Montello school system. Harry Warriner '68, former La Crosse State golf ace, has turned pr<strong>of</strong>essional and will take the head pro job at the Maple Grove Country Club, West SaTem. Barbara Zimmerman '68 participated in the Women's A.A.U. National Basketball Tournament help in Gallup, N.M. earlier this spring. Miss Zimmerman was previously selected to the second team All-Stars during the Wisconsin A.A.U. Tournament in Milwaukee. She is presently teaching physical education in Green Bay.
