Job Corps Program
$250 million for the office of Job Corps

Description: These competitive grant funds will support construction and modernization of
a network of residential facilities serving at-risk youth. The funds will allow the
Office of Job Corps to move forward on a number of ready-to-go rehabilitation
and construction projects, including those where competitions have already been

Unemployment Insurance
Included provisions to extend the Emergency Unemployment Compensation Program (33 weeks) and provides $25
more a week in Unemployment Insurance benefits to recipients. Equally important, if the State of Nevada enacts
the Unemployment Insurance (UI) modernization incentives included in the bill, the state may receive $77.4
million in new funding under the recovery package.
