Frank was a 3-year starter at Guard for the Lansdale High School Huskies, earning one gold and<br />
two white letters. He played on the 1945 Championship Team as a sophomore, and was an All<br />
Bux-Mont performer his junior and senior years – Most Valuable Player Award in 1947, and<br />
Outstanding Player on Thanksgiving Day versus Doylestown H.S. (33-0).<br />
In the Spring <strong>of</strong> 1947, Frank was Bux-Mont and District Discus Champion, repeated that honor<br />
in 1948. Lansdale High School was the Bux-Mont Champion both years.<br />
In 1949-50, Frank played football at West Chester Teachers College, then joined the U.S. Marine<br />
Corps and played football for the Cherry Point Flyers.<br />
Frank and his wife Nancy have been married 54 years. They have two sons, Jeff and Gregg. A<br />
life-long resident <strong>of</strong> Lansdale, Frank was self-employed in construction and real estate.
