Long service life<br />
and high operational reliability
Powerful. Rack ovens from wachtel are known for their<br />
long service life and high operational reliability. Baking <strong>de</strong>cks, front and<br />
outsi<strong>de</strong> paneling are completely ma<strong>de</strong> of high-gra<strong>de</strong> stainless steel. The<br />
chamber parts are not bolted but carefully and securely wel<strong>de</strong>d. Moreover,<br />
each COMPACT and COMET oven stands on an 8 mm strong stainless<br />
steel base plate. Decisive advantages that guarantee a long life expectancy!<br />
The COMPACT and COMET rack ovens boast exceptionally large<br />
baking surfaces with minimum space requirements. Due to its unusual<br />
height, the baking chamber can accommodate racks with 20 layers as<br />
standard while maintaining the technically required minimum layer<br />
pitch of more than 85 mm. Compared to ovens accommodating racks<br />
with only 18 layers, wachtel rack ovens produce 11 % more volume with<br />
the same baking surface. The unique cross-flow radial fan assures an<br />
absolutely consistent and evenly distributed airflow. This results in optimal<br />
energy efficiency at the slowest possible air speed while you achieve<br />
baking results of supreme quality. Continuous baking is no problem due<br />
to the large-capacity steaming unit generating sufficient steam at any<br />
time. Not to mention an easy to operate computer control is a standard<br />
feature of each rack oven. The electrically heated COMET rack oven as<br />
alternative to gas or oil heated ovens.<br />

perfect alternative wherever it is reasonable and<br />
economical to rely on electrical power with all its<br />
inherent advantages. Connections to a flue gas<br />
chimney and a burner are nor required. Clean,<br />

Better to play it safe. The baking<br />
chambers of all wachtel rack ovens are<br />
carefully and securely wel<strong>de</strong>d. Failures<br />
such as loosening of connections or<br />
<strong>de</strong>cay of seals occurring on ovens with<br />
bolted chambers are thus exclu<strong>de</strong>d.<br />
