SUBJECT: Call for Nominations<br />

The NACW <strong>Nominating</strong> <strong>Committee</strong> hereby solicits nominations for:<br />

Officers: one (1) position to fill remaining year of two-year term (July <strong>2011</strong> – July 2012)<br />

Directors-At-Large: seven (7) positions for two-year terms (July <strong>2011</strong> - July 2013)<br />

Directors-At-Large: one (1) position for a one-year term (July <strong>2011</strong>-July 2012)<br />

The election will be held during the NACW 40th Annual Business Meeting & Conference, July 20-23,<br />

Phoenix, AZ.<br />

Please fill out and return the appropriate NACW <strong>Nominating</strong> Form to me no later than June 1, <strong>2011</strong>.<br />

The <strong>Nominating</strong> <strong>Committee</strong> will review the nominations, report the names and qualifications of<br />

proposed candidates, and forward the <strong>Committee</strong>’s report to the membership.<br />

OFFICERS (current term vacancy July <strong>2011</strong>) – Term July 2010 – July 2012<br />

President Mary Moline Mescall, New Mexico, Region 6 - resigning July <strong>2011</strong><br />

NACW Bylaws Article VI Section 1 states, “No more than any one Officer shall be elected from any<br />

one state.”<br />

DIRECTORS-AT-LARGE (current terms expire July <strong>2011</strong>) – Term July <strong>2011</strong> – July 2013<br />

NACW Directors-At-Large are elected for two year terms. NACW Bylaws Article IV, Section 1 states,<br />

“No more than three directors shall be elected from any one state.”<br />

Again, the deadline for nominations is June 1, <strong>2011</strong>. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.<br />

All Directors-At-Large must be, at the time of their election, a commissioner or employee of a<br />

NACW member commissions as defined in Article IV of the NACW By-Laws.<br />

The responsibilities of Directors-At-Large shall be such as are implied by their respective titles and as specified in NACW By-Laws.<br />

Seven (7) Directors-At-Large will be elected during NACW’s <strong>2011</strong> Annual National Convention for a term of two-years (July <strong>2011</strong><br />

through July 2013) and one (1) Director-At-Large for a one-year term (July <strong>2011</strong> through July 2012). Please review nominee<br />
