SUBJECT: Call for Nominations
The NACW Nominating Committee hereby solicits nominations for:
Officers: one (1) position to fill remaining year of two-year term (July 2011 – July 2012)
Directors-At-Large: seven (7) positions for two-year terms (July 2011 - July 2013)
Directors-At-Large: one (1) position for a one-year term (July 2011-July 2012)
The election will be held during the NACW 40th Annual Business Meeting & Conference, July 20-23,
Phoenix, AZ.
Please fill out and return the appropriate NACW Nominating Form to me no later than June 1, 2011.
The Nominating Committee will review the nominations, report the names and qualifications of
proposed candidates, and forward the Committee’s report to the membership.
OFFICERS (current term vacancy July 2011) – Term July 2010 – July 2012
President Mary Moline Mescall, New Mexico, Region 6 - resigning July 2011
NACW Bylaws Article VI Section 1 states, “No more than any one Officer shall be elected from any
one state.”
DIRECTORS-AT-LARGE (current terms expire July 2011) – Term July 2011 – July 2013

NACW Directors-At-Large are elected for two year terms. NACW Bylaws Article IV, Section 1 states,
“No more than three directors shall be elected from any one state.”
Again, the deadline for nominations is June 1, 2011. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

All Directors-At-Large must be, at the time of their election, a commissioner or employee of a
NACW member commissions as defined in Article IV of the NACW By-Laws.
The responsibilities of Directors-At-Large shall be such as are implied by their respective titles and as specified in NACW By-Laws.
Seven (7) Directors-At-Large will be elected during NACW’s 2011 Annual National Convention for a term of two-years (July 2011
through July 2013) and one (1) Director-At-Large for a one-year term (July 2011 through July 2012). Please review nominee
eligibility criteria. Nominees must meet the eligibility criteria at the time of nomination, and if successful, through the duration of
their term.
