Application Requirements:<br />

• Master’s degree <strong>in</strong> special education or related field<br />

• M<strong>in</strong>imum <strong>graduate</strong> GPA of 3.0<br />

• At least one year of full-time employment <strong>in</strong> an educational sett<strong>in</strong>g<br />

• Completion of the application and payment of the application fee<br />

• Official transcripts of <strong>graduate</strong> and under<strong>graduate</strong> degrees<br />

• Three letters of recommendation<br />

• A personal statement expla<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g why you want to pursue the CAGS <strong>in</strong><br />

<strong>Special</strong> <strong>Education</strong>: <strong>Positive</strong> <strong>Behavior</strong> <strong>Support</strong><br />

• Students who wish to obta<strong>in</strong> their CAGS and their Professional licensure<br />

should possess an Initial license as a Teacher of Students with Moderate<br />

Disabilities<br />

The GRE is not required.<br />

Students may take up to two classes as a special student before matriculation is required.<br />
