Application Requirements:
• Master’s degree in special education or related field
• Minimum graduate GPA of 3.0
• At least one year of full-time employment in an educational setting
• Completion of the application and payment of the application fee
• Official transcripts of graduate and undergraduate degrees
• Three letters of recommendation
• A personal statement explaining why you want to pursue the CAGS in
Special Education: Positive Behavior Support
• Students who wish to obtain their CAGS and their Professional licensure
should possess an Initial license as a Teacher of Students with Moderate
Disabilities
The GRE is not required.
Students may take up to two classes as a special student before matriculation is required.
