Homologation and certification for entering new markets
To make sure goods are securely marketed, different types of approvals are needed according to the
official standards of their destination countries.
Luxembourg’s National Society for Certification and Homologation (SNCH) can provide national,
European and international certifications and homologations.
The SNCH is active in several areas among which:
Automotive homologation (EU directives and ECE regulations);
Medical devices homologation;
Information Security Management System certification (ISMS);
Devices and protective systems allowed in an environment with an
explosive atmosphere (ATEX directive);
Certification of a Management System (CMS).
