Terms and Turf<br />
In this example ‘terms’ are the rules of behaviour and ‘turf’ is the place where we feel<br />
comfortable.<br />
Too often, when engaging in mission we aim to get people onto our ‘turf’ on our<br />
‘terms’.<br />
This is merely In-drag.<br />
Incarnational ministry involves us choosing to go and meet people on their ‘turf’ on<br />
their ‘terms’.<br />
This is truly Out-reach.<br />
Any kind of involvement in mission generally challenges our natural ‘comfort zone’, but<br />
incarnational ministry takes this to a whole new level!<br />
