13. Commitments:<br />

Committee <strong>of</strong> the Canadian Association <strong>of</strong><br />
Medical Radiological Technology.<br />
SIAST has a number <strong>of</strong> operating lease commitments pertaining to land and buildings and equipment. The majority <strong>of</strong> land and buildings are leased on a<br />
continuing basis from <strong>Saskatchewan</strong> Property Management, in addition to smaller private building lessors. The equipment is leased from various private lessors.<br />
A summary <strong>of</strong> the future minimum operating lease commitments over the next five years is as follows:<br />

The estimated cost to complete major capital projects in progress at June 30, <strong>2007</strong> is approximately $5,872. Funds received, but not yet expended, for these<br />
projects is recorded in deferred grants (note 9 (b)).<br />
14. Contribution to Province <strong>of</strong> <strong>Saskatchewan</strong> – General Revenue Fund:<br />
A project to renovate and expand SIAST Kelsey Campus was completed during <strong>2007</strong>. SIAST capitalized costs <strong>of</strong> $1,881 for the renovation portion <strong>of</strong> the project<br />
and made a contribution to the Province <strong>of</strong> <strong>Saskatchewan</strong> – General Revenue Fund <strong>of</strong> $3,574 to fund the addition to a building leased from <strong>Saskatchewan</strong><br />
Property Management. Contributions by SIAST to the General Revenue Fund are not expected to recur.
