We will plan the form and content for a course in moral education and democratic values inspired
from by the UNESCO structure on how one handles permanent social changes. The course will
build on the development of personal and collective competences that are democratic,
communicative, intercultural and vigorous. The course is to be taken an integrated part of the
participants’ studies at their own University colleges/Universities.

Network description: The purpose of the project - to contribute cooperation in mobility between
students and teachers from the Latvian Academy of Sports Education and new partners from
higher education institutions in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, to increase the quality of
Bachelor, Master, Doctoral and professional study programmes in Physical Education and Sport; to
support and disseminate the results of the best practices and innovative processes; to promote
mutual Nordic-Baltic linguistic and cultural understanding. The project will contribute to
coordination of higher education structure (Bachelor, Master programmes Curriculum) in physical
education and sport, to work out and disseminate innovative programmes for life long learning in
Latvia and the Nordic-Baltic countries.
