Network: Sustainable Water and Energy Management in Environmental
Engineering
Coordinating institution: TAMPEREEN AMMATTIKORKEAKOULU Country: FI
Coordinator: Marjukka Dyer (marjukka.dyer@tamk.fi)
Network description: Sustainable Water and Energy Management in Environmental Engineering
network will continue its efforts to develop the network activities to serve partner universities in
the best way. The new challenge to combat Climate Change issues with every possible way is one
of the prime targets of this network. To share mutual knowledge on sustainable technologies for
water and waste management would provide a good base for intensive study period as well as
produce virtual teaching material for mutual use. In both water and waste aspects the energy
issues related to alternative technologies will be promoted and clear targets to widen the
environmental knowledge and skills within environmental engineering and management students
in partner universities by creating innovative activities through mutual intensive courses and
theme days will be continued.
