up-to-date information about support while you’re studying, as

year (February, May and October) and is also available online
to members. It aims to give you a competitive edge via careers
advice, informed articles and information to help you get the

Engineering & Technology Magazine – published monthly,

well as individually tailored career advice and our own classified
jobs section – IET Careers.
Membership also includes a Specialist Magazine of your choice

In today’s world you need accurate, timely and up-to-date
information in order to ensure that you are in tune with current
technology. The Library offers a collection of current research,
electronic resources, books and periodicals.
For members who are unable to visit the Library in person, books
can be selected using the Online Catalogue and sent to your
home free of charge!
Student Members can also take advantage of the Library’s new
Search Service – providing invaluable information for essays,
projects and research, plus you’ll receive a 20% discount when
buying books in person or online through our website.
> IMPROVE YOUR PROSPECTS WITH OUR QUALIFICATIONS
The qualifications the Institution offers are recognised globally as a
hallmark of quality and personal professionalism, which is why
they open doors and offer professional opportunities worldwide.
Chartered Engineer (CEng) is not the only qualification that we
offer; members can now register as Incorporated Engineers
(IEng) and Engineering Technicians (EngTech), depending on
their specialist skills.
