"With more than 200,000 spectators expected to attend the 94th PGA Championship, what better way to spread the
word about Carolinas PGA Family Golf Days than to cross promote with The PGA of America." Carolinas PGA Section
Executive Director, Ron Schmid, PGA said.
Many of the programs being offered are free or have a low cost to get as many families in the Carolinas out on the golf
course and having fun. Golf is a great way to get outside, be active as a family and spend quality time together. These
family golf promotions offered around the Carolinas July 28-29, as well as throughout the year, are opportunities to not
only introduce the game to children, but to also learn a new activity together as a family.
