o Student worker for state-funded LaSIP project (Louisiana Systemic Initiatives
Program) under the supervision of Dr. Judy Chauvin.
Duties included preparing solution reagents, organizing and maintaining
laboratories, modifying lab manuals, and editing grant proposals.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
• Spring 2007 Louisiana State University Baton Rouge, LA
o TA General Chemistry Laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Linda Allen.
Duties included supervising lab sessions and grading quizzes, lab reports, and
exams. Other related duties included proctoring exams for General and
Organic Chemistry.
• Fall 2006 Louisiana State University Baton Rouge, LA
o TA for Advanced Inorganic Chemistry Course under the supervision of Dr Julia
Chan.
Duties included assisting in group discussions and grading quizzes, exams, and
other assignments. Other duties include grading for General Chemistry exams.
OUTREACH ACTIVITIES
• Participated in Super Science Saturday at LSU (2005-2008)
• Performed chemistry demonstrations at Harold Keller Elementary School, Metairie LA,
(Fall 2005), Houma Junior High School, Houma, LA (Spring 2006) and South
Terrebonne High School, Bourg, LA (2008).
• Lead discussion with Houma Junior High School Students about the importance of
reading and writing across the curriculum (Spring 2007).
