Setting up the ladder and climbing it takes some time so make sure your opponent is
incapacitated before going for the win. It can be a tough match type because the computer is
relentless. If you don’t keep your opponent far away, you may find your opponent on the other
side of the ladder--if he knocks you off he might get an easy win! Nail a finisher on your opponent
as far from the middle of the ring as possible then go for the ladder and the hanging belt. You can
also send them out of the ring with an Irish whip so they lay outside the ring while you quickly
scamper up the ladder for the win.
In a table match you must set up a table (either standing in the ring or propped up in a
turnbuckle) and break the table by sending your opponent through it. Irish whip your opponent
onto the table then perform some type of slam move (a finisher that’s a slam like a powerbomb is
a great choice).
Brawls
During season mode you’ll have the chance to battle in parking lot and bar brawl matches. It’s
essentially a hardcore match in a unique location! Plus there are bunches of unique animations
and environmental effects to try out. Irish whip your opponent into various objects then perform a
grapple onto that object. For instance, the limo in the parking lot can be used as a grapple: you’ll
nail your opponent’s head with the door! Test out different areas of the bar and parking lot. Try
grappling against the pool table, for instance.
The bar brawl is a new match type for 2006.
