Be patient and avoid big confrontations near the ropes. Look for double-team opportunities and easy chances to send someone out of the ring. If you lose, you’re forced into a six-man Battle Royale and it’s a must win to continue onward. Use similar strategy: look to double-team and "help" wrestlers out of the ring, don’t get caught near the ropes, and be patient and away from the action if necessary. Road to Wrestlemania There are two versions of the final RAW storyline, "Road to Wrestlemania". In one version, Steve Austin becomes the RAW general manager; in the other, the RAW general manager position floats between several people before finally resting on the legend Jimmy Hart. The current heavyweight champion also differs. In the Steve Austin version, Batista is the champ; in the Jimmy Hart version, Triple H is the champ. Obviously the storyline depends on your selected wrestler. The Steve Austin as GM/Batista is champ version begins with Eric Bischoff strutting in the center of the squared circle. He congratulates the RAW superstar performances at the rumble. Despite new champions there are issues with the title belts. Before he can explain himself, Vince McMahon moves down the ramp and into the ring. He’s had enough of RAW superstars being stripped of their titles.
Making the rabid wolverine submit isn’t an easy task. Eric has had a plan with a Smackdown! superstar: JBL. He’s going to provide financial backing to create a new wrestling empire. Vince gets desperate! The familiar music of Stone Cold Steve Austin plays: he gives JBL the stunner then confronts Bischoff in the ring. But it’s in Eric Bischoff’s contract that he can’t be harmed as long as he’s the General Manager of RAW. You know what’s coming next. Vince fires Bischoff and Austin unleashes the stunner. He hires Stone Cold as the new manager. The first order of business is to unravel the conspiracy. You’re going to help them find the RAW traitor. First up is a submission match against Chris Benoit. Could he be the traitor? Chris Benoit is a submission specialist (his finishing move is the powerful submission hold the Crippler Crossface). Weaken a specific body part and use submission holds on that area for the win. After the match, Chris Benoit isn’t too pleased about being labeled a traitor. He tells you to follow the trail of gold...does that mean one of the champions is the traitor? Next up is a normal tag team match with you and Kane against Randy Orton and Chris Benoit. Tag Kane in and allow the big man to take care of business while you assist against the legal and nonlegal man. Help Kane if he’s being pinned and, if you’re the legal man, call for help! You’re then sent to the No Way Out Smackdown pay-per-view to gather more info regarding the traitor. For now, though, you’re given a choice in the upcoming match. You can battle Kane in a non-title match. Or you can fight Randy Orton, who came to Benoit’s defense a little too fast. You
