If you choose not to side with Eddie, you face him at No Mercy with Undertaker as Eddie’s
manager. Don’t maneuver outside of the ring. Expect a hefty beatdown at the end of the match!
Next you face Eddie in a ladder match. Afterward, you break into Eddie’s locker after the match
and search for the urn, which you find! Now it’s in your possession. Battle Eddie again in a match;
Undertaker emerges at the match’s conclusion and you attempt to hand back the urn. The
Undertaker doesn’t seem too thrilled to have it back...because it was a fake urn! Eddie lies,
cheats, and steals. It’s time for Survivor Series and you’re up against the Undertaker in a Buried
Alive match.
The object of the Buried Alive match is to place your opponent into the casket located near the
entrance ramp. The first part is getting your opponent inside the casket; the second part is
burying him! To get him inside the casket, Irish whip your opponent into the casket and press
circle plus a D-pad direction (a grapple essentially) then rapidly tap any button. If he gets inside
the casket it’s time to bury. Press the right-analog stick down to lower the casket.
Make sure your opponent’s momentum meter is low before attempting to lower the casket and
bury him. Otherwise your opponent can stop the casket from lowering and you’ll have to start
over. An ideal way to lower your opponent’s momentum quickly is to steal their taunt. Store a
finishing move, hold L1, and move the right-analog stick. If you finish their taunt completely, your
opponent’s momentum will be drained. It is also possible to end the match with a special finishing
move. Save a finisher then with full momentum, send him into the casket and perform a finishing
move to end the match.
