The Allied Telesyn International AT-<br />
3714FXL is an all fiber 12-port <strong>Ethernet</strong><br />
switch with high speed uplinks for<br />
<strong>Ethernet</strong> to Fast <strong>Ethernet</strong> connectivity.<br />
<strong>Fiber</strong> switching combines the benefits<br />
of high performance in switching with<br />
the benefits of high reliability in fiber,<br />
making it an attractive solution for many<br />
network applications. The AT-3714FXL<br />
switch optimizes features, functions,<br />
performance, and price to offer the best<br />
value for fiber connectivity in <strong>Ethernet</strong><br />
switching today.<br />
FLEXIBLE<br />
The AT-3714FXL switch comes with flexible<br />
configuration options. The base unit<br />
comes with 12 fixed 10Base-FL ports and<br />
one 100Mbps fixed FX port. With the<br />
option for a second 10/100Mbps TX<br />
uplink or a 100Mbps FX uplink, it<br />
provides versatile configuration options<br />
for the network. It can be used to link<br />
hubs to increase performance in existing<br />
shared media LANs, as well as providing<br />
dedicated bandwidth for demanding<br />
applications such as client/server and<br />
multimedia applications.<br />

The AT-3714FXL provides all the benefits<br />
of fiber. It is superior in its immunity to<br />

The ATI Omega interface provides an<br />
easy-to-use menu command interface for<br />
managing and configuring the switch. The<br />

MIBs. The Port Mirroring feature,<br />
supported by a dedicated mirror port,<br />
provides even greater flexibility in<br />
management and diagnostic capability by<br />
simple monitoring of switch traffic of any<br />
port. Web-based Management gives network<br />
administrators and users a new level<br />
of simple and universal access to important<br />
network management functions via<br />
the familiar web browser interface.
