1 Read Me First<br />
This release note documents the <strong>Freescale</strong> MQX <strong>RTOS</strong> version <strong>3.6.2</strong> released for <strong>Freescale</strong><br />
ColdFire, PowerPC and Kinetis ARM ® CortexM4 processor families.<br />
1.1 Requirements<br />
1.1.1 Development Tools<br />
This <strong>Freescale</strong> MQX <strong>RTOS</strong> <strong>Release</strong> was compiled and tested with the following development<br />
tools:<br />
- CodeWarrior Development Studio for Microcontrollers Version 6.3.1 (Build 10105)<br />
o Support available for ColdFire V1 devices<br />

1.1.2 System Requirements<br />
The system requirements are defined by the development tools requirements. There are no special<br />
host system requirements for hosting the <strong>Freescale</strong> MQX <strong>RTOS</strong> distribution itself.<br />

Recommended PC configuration:<br />
2 GHz processor – 2 GB RAM - 2 GB free disk space.<br />
