pParam input Pointer to an array of approximation coefficients.<br />

The function returns arcsin(fltIn) as a single precision floating point number.<br />

4.30.4 Description<br />

The GFLIB_Asin_FLT function provides a computational method <strong>for</strong> the calculation of<br />

the st<strong>and</strong>ard inverse trigonometric arcsine function arcsin(x), using the combination of a<br />

square root based polynomial approximation <strong>and</strong> a Minimax approximation. Function<br />

arcsin(x) takes the ratio of the length of the opposite side to the length of the hypotenuse<br />

<strong>and</strong> returns the angle.<br />
