The ORGANIZATION will also involve the local administration and relevant ministries (ie Ministry
of Social Welfare, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education) in the Committee meetings in order to
develop handing over mechanism linking the project to the relevant government Ministries to
support the provision of needs identified by the women’s groups.
The ORGANIZATION will also support the women’s association with linkages to civil based
organizations (CBOS) working/ based in their respective localities, to promote the sharing of
knowledge, experiences and support sustainability. This should be accomplished through
introductory committee meetings.
3) Civic Education: should be provided for 50‐75 women in each of the 3 locations (150 ‐ 225
total), mixing female DDR participants and civilian women, for a minimum of 5 days, within
the framework of the Women’s Group in order to reinforce the practice of
Committee/Group meetings the following topics:
a. Civic Rights/Human Rights/Women’s Rights 1
b. Health issues, including common diseases, sanitation and hygiene, STI/STDs,
HIV/AIDS, RH and parenting, and First Aid 2
c. Leadership skills 3
d. Peace building/Conflict Resolution 4
e. Communication skills
4) Peace building and reconciliation activities: entire project should focus on peace
buildling among women at the community level. The ORGNAIZATION should detail how
they will ensure this focus and what specific activities they will undertake. Peace building
and reconciliation activities should be engaging and highly participatory activities that will
promote constructive dialogue and interaction between the participants.
Programme Costs: The ORGANIZATION is responsible for all costs associated with the training
(materials, food, drinks, transport, accommodations, staffing, etc.). UNDP will pay the contractor the
fixed contract price based on the milestones achieved by the Contractor.
The ORGANIZATION will be responsible for organizing all logistics, administration, transportation,
accommodation, and costs of all trainings associated with the project.
Monitoring and Reporting: The ORGANIZATION will conduct monthly monitoring of the project.
The ORGANIZATION will provide monthly progress and financial reports and a final report
