„ Villages where grid extension are not feasible, are<br />
electrified <strong>through</strong> locally available renewable<br />
energy sources to meet universal electrification.<br />
„ About 6750 villages / hamlets sanctioned so far<br />
mainly <strong>through</strong> SPV.<br />
„ So far REC has identified about 6000 such remote<br />
villages / hamlets.<br />
„ About 38 villages have been electrified <strong>through</strong><br />
biomass gasifier systems (20-500 (20 500 kW).<br />
