The Xtreme Max combines an 8 stage Koi filter system into one integrated<br />
vortex chamber with easy flush. In the vortex, heavier waste solids sink<br />
while cleaner water rises up through the middle column. Waste can be<br />
flushed from the filter via the slide valve<br />
so cleaning is easy.<br />
Flocor media, multiple layers of filter<br />
foams, brushes and activated carbon<br />
are combined to create a huge area for<br />
mechanical and biological filtration. The<br />
activated carbon also removes harmful<br />
toxins. The bio chamber has its own flush<br />
valve for quick and easy cleaning.<br />
Xtreme filters can be supplied with an<br />
air pump fitted in the lid. This adds air<br />
to make the friendly bacteria in the<br />
biological filter grow faster and work even<br />
better.<br />
A built in Ultra Violet Clarifier can be<br />
added which eliminates green water<br />
giving you a clear pond. A choice of 25 or<br />
50 watts is available.<br />
