Application<br />
CONCEPT® enclosures house and protect your sensitive electrical or electronic components from<br />
harsh, dirty environments. For use in installations where dirt, dust, oil, water, or other contaminants<br />
are present. Streamlined styling, flush latching, and an attractive durable finish complement other<br />
electronic equipment.<br />
Construction<br />
• 16 or 14 gauge steel<br />
• Seams continuously welded and ground smooth<br />
• Minimum width body flange provides maximum door opening (210°)<br />
• Body flange trough excludes liquids and contaminants<br />
• Panel mounting studs fit optional CONCEPT® panels and other accessories<br />
• Mounting holes in back of body for direct mounting or for optional external wall-mounting brackets<br />
• Hidden hinges for clean aesthetic appearance<br />
• Doors are interchangeable and easily removable by pulling captive hinge pins<br />
• Seamless foam-in-place gasket provides oil-tight and dust-tight seal against contaminants<br />
• Optional handles and inserts available<br />
• Self-grounding latch system with double seal provides maximum protection against leakage<br />

• Patented quarter-turn latches or a 3-point latch system on larger enclosures, furnished with flush<br />
slotted insert. Optional handles or inserts are available.<br />
CONCEPT® single-door enclosures with window<br />
• Clear polycarbonate window is flush with door surface<br />
• Quarter-turn latch(es) with flush slotted insert.<br />
CONCEPT® flush-mount enclosures<br />
• Mounting frame extends completely around enclosure<br />
• Quarter-turn latch(es) with slotted insert.<br />
CONCEPT® two-door enclosures<br />
• Patented overlapping door design provides full-width access<br />
• Door bars on each door for wire management and bonding<br />
• 3-point latch system on right door furnished with flush slotted insert<br />
Finish<br />
Two standard finishes are available over phosphatized surfaces: ANSI 61 gray polyester powder<br />
paint inside and out, or RAL 7035 textured light gray polyester powder paint inside and out.<br />
Optional panels are white.<br />
